China Wuhan shutdown: Public transport suspended amid deadly coronavirus outbreak

China has halted all flights and trains out of Wuhan at 10:00 on January 23 to put the city in lockdown amid the deadly coronavirus scare.

The video shows soldiers with masks standing at the entrances of Hankou Railway Station which is one of the three main railway stations in Wuhan to stop commuters from leaving.

Travellers can be seen being stranded outside the station and a man was heard saying: “The train station has been blocked already. No one can leave now. What can we do?”
